If you love Food Network competitions, then this fall  you won't want to miss

SHOW-ME CHEFS

SHOW-ME CHEFS  is a broadcast / webcast cooking competition TV show produced in Springfield, Missouri by the Media, Journalism & Film department at Missouri State University. The show features culinary talent from the Show-Me State.

Each season eight local chefs compete in pairs to move on forward to the next level of competition from quarter rounds to semi-finals to finale'. Each chef competes in head-to-head competition, completing three rounds of dishes for our panel of judges to determine the overall winner of Show-Me Chefs.

The is a true community partnership. We highlight farmers who produce local meats, cheese, produce, spirits and other specialty items from food producers in the state and Ozarks region.

Mama Jean's Natural Market provides the pantry for the chefs, and the seven season’s episodes are filmed at 319 Event Center located in downtown Springfield. The show works with many academic and local business sponsors to provide funding and other items to help us produce the show.

Show-Me Chefs believe in emphasizing and supporting the importance of local foods to help strengthen the consumer’s relationship to the farming community, and to locally owned restaurants in our cities. Additionally we believe we live in a thriving community in a vibrant state, therefore Show-Me Chefs celebrates our talented people, culinary products and local businesses that help us provide entertainment and education to our viewers.
